TEAMM Training at Your Site
Site Training Information
How We Work With Sites
TEAMM typically works with sites for 12-18 months, though this varies depending on the site’s specific needs.
After selection as a TEAMM intervention site, we will work with the primary site champion to:
Identify site goals and existing barriers and facilitators to early pregnancy loss service implementation
Identify and work with an interdisciplinary group of co-champions at your institution
Prepare for practice change by developing protocols and exploring equipment set-up needs
Schedule and conduct a series of on-site trainings over 1-2 mutually agreed upon days that will be attended by key groups of participants identified (details below)
Provide remote follow-up technical assistance to help your site achieve your service implementation goals

Application information
Site Selection Criteria
Washington State: TEAMM has worked with residency programs, federally qualified health centers, academic medical centers, rural hospitals, community health centers, primary care clinics, and specialty care clinics. At this time, priority is given to applicant organizations that are rural hospitals and serve medically underserved communities, federally qualified health centers, and/or sites that have a residency program.
Outside Washington State: Capacity for training sites outside of Washington is currently very limited. Priority is currently given to two types of applicant organizations:
Academic medical centers that desire to initiate services in their emergency room and/or outpatient clinics and are willing to work interdepartmentally to do this
Rural hospitals or health care centers that serve medically underserved communities
Champion Criteria
TEAMM accepts applications from organizations with a pre-identified champion who is the primary point of contact for the project. The champion should be a physician, advanced practice clinician, or administrator motivated to work persistently at their site to facilitate practice change.
